Back Home Again

The little fella all dressed up ready to go
Little lady all dressed up ready to go
Mum Dad and there little people
 A family affair
 The cakes my daughter made

Back home and the doves are settling in
The frame and netting will stay in place for three weeks, it can then be removed and the doves will be homed, they make lovely cooing noises, I am looking forward to seeing them fly.

I have a long list of jobs now awaiting me so I must get a move on.

  1. Lovely pictures of all the family. I bet it was great all getting together. I'll be interested to see how you get on with the doves. Hope they won't attack your garden!

  3. Your artist flair has obviously been passed onto your daughter. Lovely cakes and family occasion. My daughter loves cake making but went back to being a medical rep as as it doesn't pay enough.

  6. The christening photos are lovely!

Can I ask about the doves...can they over breed or breed with local dove type birds or pigeons and cause any issues like that? I think they look beautiful and I love the look of them...I just know nothing about them at all :)

    1. They can breed with other local doves and pigeons and I suspect over the years we will end up with a right mixture of birds, I have only seen one pair of turtle doves around here and the occasional pigeon if we were in an urban area we might have more of an issue :)
