A lifestyle change took place when we moved to our smallholding in Wales, we are leaving behind the consumerism of life, growing our food, raising our meat, living our lives to the full, enjoying every day the highs and lows of country living, but not going without just doing it better.
So so sorry to hear this Dawn, RIP Daffodil, at least her legacy lives on in little Kara. Always very sad when any animal passes so I do hope you're ok xx
Dear Dawn. I am so sorry. Sometimes these things happen with animals and no-one, including the vets, knows why. You must be so upset. Hope Kara manages without her Mum - the farmer says at her age she probably will be alright.
I know you expected this to happen, but it doesn't make it any easier to have your worst fears confirmed. I am glad that she at least has left you with Kara to remember her by, and hoping that the wee one is managing fine with her booster feeds by syringe. A relief she took that as she rejected the bottle. My thoughts are with you, (((HUGS))) Jennie x
So sorry and so sad. Llamas are not anything I know too much about but she looked a friendly soul. Will Kara be okay without Daffodil. Hugs for you its never easy losing any animal. Hugs. Pattypan x
Sorry to hear it Dawn, I hope baby Kara survives ok without Mum.
