Gosh I haven't seen so many people in one place for a long time, I had a stall at the Autumn Fair today in the village, the sun shone and it was a great day, I must have done a fair bit of talking as I now have a bit of a rough throat and my voice is croaky.
I did really well with my stall of handcrafted gifts, now I have very little stock left, and plenty of orders to boot. If I am not careful this will turn into a full time job, I will get orders fulfilled this week, then I need to make more stock up for the next village stall day at the start of November then I have another craft fair end of November.
Not that I am complaining the money is buying me a big walk in fruit cage :-)
I was given this lovely thank you card today from the WI, I gave them a load of craft kits left from the shop for there raffle at the Macmillan Coffee Morning the other week, they raised £407.26 not bad for a little village. I have promised them I will try my best to get along to there next meeting.
The fencer was here yesterday
and got all the fence posts in place for the two new paddocks for the Alpacas, today he was back again putting up the wire, tomorrow morning we will move the girls on to fresh pasture they will love that, give them a chance to lay on a bit more weight before winter.
I have dinner cooked ready for tomorrow BBQ chicken breasts and Martin has made a lovely big bowl of Salsa to go with it
I might just do some of Pam's smashed roast potatoes and some french bread to have with dinner.
Martin has gone for fish and chips for tonight dinner and I am off to have another cuppa I feel a bit brain dead after being with so many people.:-)
Brilliant news, it's great that your stall did so well. We don't have a WI in our town, I'd definitely go if we did, their meeting sound so interesting with all the talks and activities they arrange. Fish and chips, yum yum, enjoy.
